18. Non-surgical Upper Blepharoplasty in only one session of 0.5 timedsurgical Mixed Peeling

In a fair number of cases, mixed peeling 0.5 can achieve upper blepharoplasty without any skin incisions, thereby replacing the surgical procedure. Mixed peeling 0.5 is as powerful as peeling by means of phenol but does not carry the risks of aggressive peeling procedures. The characteristics of mixed peeling 0.5 also make it suitable for use in patients who have already undergone blepharoplasty who present roughness or asymmetry of the eyelids.
After a few weeks, the upper eyelids have a rejuvenated appearance and are free from artefacts. The surface of the skin has clearly been reduced. The palpebral fold is rounded. The skin is thicker ambulatory procedure permanently corrects one of the most evident and least manageable signs of aging.

44. Elastic Rhinoplasty

A long nose can be shortened and the tip reshaped by implanting an elastic thread through a 2 mm incision.
Elastic lifting of the nose has not only an esthetic objective, but also a functional purpose. Indeed, by correcting the nasolabial angle, this procedure improves the patient's breathing. The indication for this simple procedure is established during the preoperative examination. The nose-tip is pinched between two fingers and is drawn backwards and upwards; if it is raised easily, the elastic thread can be implanted.
The result is optimal and stable over time.

45. Lifting the upper lip with two elastic threads

A long upper lip is an esthetic defect of familial origin. If the lip is not excessively long, it can be lifted by means of two elastic threads.
The preoperative design is drawn from the wing of the nose to the contralateral margin of the columella. From here, it descends obliquely to the extremity of cupid's bow, follows the edge of the vermilion border and then travels back up to the wing of the nose. Anesthesia is loco-regional.
