Sclerotherapy, phlebectomy, saphenectomy and laser therapy all act on the effect of varicose disease – not on its cause. These techniques destroy, strip out, ligate or burn the veins, thereby eliminating the escape valve for the hypertension that they are unable to cure. And, if not cured, hemodynamic hypertension will be relieved by dilating other veins and capillaries.
Matting before and after TRAP
TRAP (Three-dimensional Regenerative Ambulatory Phlebotherapy) is a non-obliterative technique that acts on the walls of the veins of the superficial, perforating and communicating circulation. The veins are narrowed and strengthened, the valves no longer leak reflux is prevented, and hemodynamic hypertension is corrected. Once the diameter of the veins has been reduced, hydrostatic thrust, which causes the sensation of heaviness in the legs, returns to normal. The veins and the ectatic capillaries in the legs disappear from view, and the elasticity of the vessel walls is maintained.
Varicose veins before and after TRAP
To achieve the desired results (disappearance of all the visible vessels), a buffered solution of 3% sodium salicylate is injected into all the "gateways" (veins and telangiectasias) to the dilated venous circulation. From 48 ml to 72 ml of solution, which is rendered painless, is injected per session; up to 12 ml per single injection.
Despite its low concentration, the solution is hypertonic and, on contact with the blood, causes hemolysis and the release of free iron. The iron ions continue to circulate in the bloodstream for days, creating inflammation.
In one of the 20 PCT patented claims filed by Dr. Capurro and the nuclear engineer Di Salvo, all of which deemed innovative by the European Patent Office (E.P.O), the free iron is immediately removed by a chelating substance that is added to the diluent of the solution.
The inflammatory state is determined by the iron ions, which are released during hemolysis of the red blood cells. According to the patent, eliminating this inflammation means reducing phlebitis to percentages below zero in subjects predisposed to phlebitis, and eliminating it completely in subjects without any familial predisposition. Chelation of the free iron enables the operator to work in complete safety and to inject the correct amounts of dilute solution in order to achieve the greatest possible efficacy.
To enhance the therapeutic action, patients undergoing TRAP take one capsule per day of a phytotherapy complex (Angiovein) for a prolonged period. The capsule is the preferable pharmaceutical form, as it is free from excipients and contains only active principles. The 9 components of Angiovein, all at high concentrations, exert 14 actions.
Patients with a familial predisposition to phlebitis add one Acetylsalicylic Acid 100 mg twice a week.
The veins of the lower limbs contain 80% of the blood of the entire body. Reducing the capacity of the venous circulation in the lower limbs means putting back to work the blood that stagnates in the dilated venous circulation. When the veins are strengthened and their correct diameter is restored, the blood flows more rapidly, improving oxygenation of the organism.
The active principles of this phytotherapy complex act on the entire circulation and microcirculation, including the vasa vasorum, which transport the active principles into the vessel wall. The components of this compound do not accumulate and can be taken indefinitely.
